Gradbach is able to offer a choice of indoor accommodation suitable for most group sizes and catering for a variety of needs.
‘The Farmhouse’
The farmhouse is perfect for larger groups (sleeping up to 32), with ‘alpine bunk’ rooms and separate leader’s rooms, with plenty of space for communal dining, cooking, indoor games and relaxing in front of an open fire.
The Farmhouse is fully equipped with two separate washrooms, with toilets and showers.
The Farmhouse is ideal for camps, courses and other outdoor pursuits in the beautiful Peak District.
There is parking available outside the building.
‘The Cottage’
The Cottage provides a perfect base for smaller parties (sleeping up to 16), with two separate ‘alpine bunk’ rooms and it’s own washroom facilities and kitchen.
The building also features a large dining/living area, with an open fireplace as its centrepiece.
The Cottage has separate parking for several vehicles immediately adjacent to the building.
The Farmhouse

Leaders’ Room
This room is benched on three sides with a log burner, ideal for leaders to relax in, or can be used as a small activity room.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a large six ring gas cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, electric kettles, griddle hot plate, microwave cooker, separate hand and utensil washing facilities, and ample food preparation and storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils. The gas, heating and hot water are included in the hire cost of the building.
Washrooms
There are two separate washrooms to allow groups to split male and female users as required. Each washroom is equipped with 2 toilets, 2 wash basins, 2 shower units, shaving points, mirrors and an automatic extractor fan. Toilet rolls and cleaning materials are included in the hire cost of the building and can be obtained from Site Staff if you run out.
Dining Room
The dining room is supplied with tables and chairs for seating up to 30 persons at a sitting.

Bunk Rooms
There are bunk rooms at either end of the building, with the capacity to sleep up to 22 people in total. Mattresses are provided, but visitors should bring their own bedding.
Leaders Bunk Room
This room will sleep 9 persons and is fitted with single bunk accommodation. Mattresses are provided, but visitors should bring their own bedding.
Activity Room / Dormitory
A 5m square room, with a benched surround and electric fire, provides an ideal space for group activity, relaxation, or additional sleeping accommodation.

Dining / Activity Room
8m x 4m parquet blocked floor room, benched on three sides with a log burner. three large collapsible tables and additional seating is provided for both dining use and indoor activities.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a large six ring gas burner cooker, cooking and eating utensils for up to 25 persons, fridge freezer, microwave cooker, utensil and hand washing area, storage and preparation surfaces.

Bunk Rooms
The bunk rooms are situated at either end of the building and are accessed by the staircase. Each of the bunkrooms sleeps up to 8 people. Mattresses are provided in the bunk rooms, but visitors should bring their own bedding. Each of the bunk rooms are carpeted and has storage heaters. For additional sleeping of 3 people, the cushioned seating in the downstairs activity room can double up as beds if required.
Washrooms
The washrooms are located upstairs between the two bunkrooms and include 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 washbasins (with hot water). The toilet and shower units are laid out to easily allow for separate male / female accommodation use. Toilet rolls and cleaning materials are included in the building hire costs and can be supplied by Site Staff if you run out.

Additional Information
Throughout the building, are electric storage heaters, regulated on a fixed timer system, to allow a ‘warming through’ of the building during your stay.
A key for locking the building, if you go out on activities, will be supplied on arrival of your stay.
General waste and mixed recycling should be deposited in the waste bins located at the main entrance to the site.
Drying Room – We offer a small drying room facility for campers and building accommodation customers alike. Situated at the end of the Camp HQ building, the drying room offers the facility for drying wet clothing and boots (not that it ever rains at Gradbach!).
We are happy to accommodate visits to site prior to your stay.
